Jesse’s House

Jesse's Courtyard
Project: Jesse’s House

Project facts

Client: ‌The Little Houses Group
Date: Completion Spring 2024
Location: Parsons Green
Size: 2200 m2

Project description

The brief from The Little House’s Group was to turn a series of sprawling empty warehouses Parsons Green into a joyful family club. The site is made up of single and two storey masonry buildings and runs alongside the District Line railway tracks. Jesse’s House contains 15 different uses, including jungle gyms, swimming pools, restaurant, cafe, gym and co-work space and involves a deep retrofit of the existing buildings. This project really sparked our imagination – we love the challenge of delivering complex mixed use buildings, creating vibrant new spaces for local communities to enjoy.

The site centres around an open courtyard, with lush planting, play structures and swimming pools. A 100 cover restaurant is located on the first floor and opens out onto a new steel framed roof terrace.

We have provided both architecture, interior design and Project Management services through RIBA stages 0-5. This involved working closely with the client to develop a layout that aligned with their business plan and worked operationally. Jesse’s House is our largest retrofit project to date and builds upon our extensive experience in the sector.

The project is on site and will be completed in Summer 2024.
